Music2Go Marketing
Principles of Marketing Simulation
Music2Go Marketing provides a platform for instructors to explain and illustrate the core marketing terms and concepts. Concepts are introduced as the simulation progresses. Students initially have responsibility over Price, Retail Margin, Sales Forecast, and Advertising decisions for a single product. As they move forward they are given control over Sales Promotion, Product Development, and the opportunity to launch new products.
This marketing simulation provides your students with realistic consumer segments featuring unique media preferences, shopping behaviors and product attributes which vary over the simulation. Through market reports students will develop an understanding of consumers, competitors and their own company in order to make both marketing strategy and marketing mix decisions.

FAQ’s
Can your simulations be used in face-to-face, online and hybrid courses?
How is the simulation typically implemented?
Standard implementation has the simulation structured in two phases; Single-Player and Multi-Player. Students start with the Single-Player where they compete against a computer opponent and control moving back/forth through decision periods (which we term rollovers).
When you are ready students move onto the Multi-Player phase where they compete against other students in your course (either in teams or individually). Students meet regular scheduled decision deadlines at times determined by you.
